Odovzdávanie hudobných cien Billboard Music Awards 2021, ktoré sa konalo v Los Angeles pozná svojich víťazov. Tým absolútnym sa stal spevák The Weeknd, ktorý si domov odniesol neskutočných desať cien. Dohromady má už z odovzdávania týchto cien 19 trofejí, čo ho radí na celkovo piate miesto za Drakea (29), Taylor Swift (25), Justina Biebera (21) a Gartha Brooksa (20).
The Weeknd však nebol jediný, kto prepísal históriu. Pop Smoke vyhral posmrtne päť cien, K-popová kapela BTS štyri ceny a latino hviezda Bad Bunny takisto štyri ceny.
